The Shared Menus Component is the software that supplies the shared Diamond menu in your web browser giving you access to your passwords.
The Shared Menus Component is bundled in the Web Confidential package. Web Confidential will install it the first time you launch it.
Sometimes, however, it fails in this effort and you then need to install it manually.
To Install
Its file name is SharedMenus.component. You need to put it in:
On Mac OS X:
Ñ ~/Library/Components/
The ~ character signifies your home directory.
On Mac OS 9:
Ñ System Folder:Extensions:
Note (Mac OS 9): You need to restart your Mac to let it take effect.
Note (Mac OS X): If you wish, you may also move the component to the folder:

Deinstall
To deinstall, just remove the component from the Extensions or Components folder and move it to another location. You can also choose the Preferences command from the Diamond Shared Menu and press the Deinstall button.
